Deputy Director of the Employment and Vocational Training Center of Braga of the Employment and Vocational Training Institute, I.P.
Born in Braga and residing in Vila Verde, she has a degree in Humanities and a Masters in Educational Sciences, Specialization in Curriculum Development and holds the FORGEP course in Public Management. Since 1987, she started functions as a teacher of Portuguese Language and Literature in Secondary Education, belonging to the Definitive Nomination Board of Vila Verde Secondary School since 1993.
From 2016, she assumed the position of Deputy Director of the Employment and Vocational Training Center of Braga of the Employment and Vocational Training Institute, IP, being the legal representative in the Platform Supra-Concelhia do Cávado and Ave and, among other actions, integrates the jury in competitions for the recruitment and selection of trainers and senior technicians.
In addition to other positions, she was coordinator of the National Reading Plan, Coordinator of the School's Self-Assessment Team, teacher of the National Classifiers Scholarship for the 12th year, Broker of National Exams for the 12th year of Portuguese, external researcher at the Institute of Education of the University do Minho, in the project External Assessment of Non-Higher Education Schools – AEEENS. Across the board, she mentors UMinho's master's students.
Isabel Oliveira is a member of the Advisory Board of the Escola Profissional Amar Terra Verde, in Vila Verde. She is also an effective member of the Municipal Council of Education (CME) and of the Local Council of Social Action (CLAS) of the municipalities of Braga, Amares and Terras de Bouro.
